Automated Patent
Library System (APLS)
 
APLS contains the entire U.S., EP and PCT Patent
and Patent Application image inventories in
stock (US 1790- present, EP and PCT 1978 to present) and ready to deliver 24 hours a day. The
APLS
system can deliver up to 500 TIF or PDF image documents per order.
Orders are usually ready in less than 60 seconds (10 seconds for less
than 10 documents).
At $1.25 per US document and $2.25 for Non-US (no matter how many pages), the speed of delivery
and quality of the documents
is hard to beat.
 We
also deliver JP, GB, DE and many other country's patents and applications in TIF and PDF formats.
We
have the entire EP and PCT (World) patents and applications in our
inventory, and for other authorities we have agreements with a another
major vendor, and we can also go directly to many of the authorities to acquire these images for you. Every Non-US
document is $2.25.

COMBINE ALL PAGES INTO ONE BIG FILE
We can combined
all documents on an order into one large PDF or TIF file for easy printing
or handling
(at no extra cost). This is different than
a ZIP file - The Combined Doucments option actually combines all of the
pages of all the files into a single large PDF or TIF file.
For US pubs, correction pages (X6) and ReExams are always attached to
the primary document
(at NO extra cost).
ZIP ALL DOCUMENT INTO ONE FILE
All publications in an order may be stored in one ZIP archive file for downloading.
Some people find this easier than downloading
multiple files. The only thing you need is an UNZipping Program such as
Winzip, 7-Zip or any number of others available for Windows systems
(Vista, XP and Linux have unzipping built-in). If you need a good,

100 USERS PER ACCOUNT
Accounts can have up to 100 individual users, and your firm can
have one account for all locations, or individual accounts for each
location. You can even have multiple accounts for the same location.
Users cna be added with a simple phone call to us. There is no charge
to add users. Each user has a separat elogon ID and PIN number for the
system. They may change their own PIN number, if desired. Users are
also tracked internally on the invoices, but your primary method of
order tracking is your own docket number (discussed below).
DOCKET NUMBER TRACKING
Your
docket numbers automatically come from the order form and onto the
invoices, and they are also moved onto the statement line
items each month to assist you fuirther with billing YOUR clients. We understand the
importance of your firm being able to bill the cost of these publications back to your clients,
and we understand that it must be accurate and in a timely manner. We know that invoices
for items ordered over the Internet don't always make it back to your accounting office,
as most offices require. Frankly, it's difficult to track all of
this information in an office with multiple attorneys, cases and a
large library staff (sometimes it's just information overload!). We
understand what it takes to track and bill all the document orders for
93 attorneys
working on 220 different cases in 5 different offices! That's why we
help you keep it all straight. At the end of the
month, we send a PDF copy of every Internet invoice (one per Internet
order)
to your email billing address (or even via snail mail, if you need
it). We make sure that if you entered a docket number, it makes it
onto the invoice. Finally, on your monthly statement where we summarize
the orders, each line item has the order number, your docket (as
entered
on our order forms), and the first publication number or item
description on that order.

And if you have a special need for a veyr large order, we can assemble the publications and burn them onto a CD or DVD recordable media and send it out the same day (with printed labels on the disks - just tell us what you want on them).
Printed Patents
and Applications (special orders) - If
you need printed patents for a special reason, send us an email with
the publication numbers, tell us how you want them printed:
- Single or double-sided printing (e.g., Simplex or Duplex)
- 3-hole-punched or plain paper (3 ring binders are available for large 3-hole punched orders)
- Stapled or not (we can staple documents up to 100 pages)
We
can usually print them the same day or the next and send them via ground or overnight them to
you. We can print them for $2.00,
plus $1.00 for every 50 pages over 100 (this applies to all US, EP and
PCT publications).
